Mom's cat, Bella, likes to go behind the couch pillows, too. She likes any kind of tunnel and she'll even come inspect a blanket if we hold it open for her.
I think most cats like to hide, except Frère. He doesn't like to be covered with a pillow or a blanket. I think it scares him.
